The neighborhood is always alive, thanks to the presence (at 30 meters) of Garage Italia: a luxury workshop that unites the world of engines and restaurants. It is an architectural structure that looks like a spaceship, planned by Lapo Elkann, designed by the architect Michele De Lucchi and home of the starred chef Carlo Cracco's restaurant.
Viale Certosa remains the first section of the road built during the Napoleonic era to link Milan to Paris.
